Green chilly Gobi fry

Green chilly Gobi fry

When i get tired of eating gravy & masala items.I try this recipe named 'Green chilly Gobi fry'-Simple and best.
I remember, this dish was actually cooked by Tandra's bro long back.....When we all got tried of shopping and came home late night and being the only cook at home i was like -'I can't cook...I'm tired'.Well he saved me that day by cooking this fry which actually turned awesome.so i never delayed to cook this recipe from then.

Serves 4

Ingredients:

Cauliflower: 1 Medium chop into small flowers from the big flowers
Chilli:5-6 chopped not so thinnly
Cumin seeds:1/2 Spoon
salt as per taste
oil 3-4 Spoon

Method:

  • Heat oil in a kadai.Temper with whole cumin seeds.
  • As the seeds starts sputtering, add Cauliflower,Green Chilli and fry till Cauliflower becomes tender.
  • Now add salt to it.some may add red chilli powder at this time.(optional).Fry it for more 2-3 mins and take the kadai off the heat.
  • Serve with hot steam rice or roti.

N.B:I suggest not to use red chilli powder as the flavour of green chilli in cauliflower really adds a good flavour and makes it hot too.
